I hate war, and I know what it's costs are.

War is necessary to the survival of every single nation. Go ahead, try and prove me wrong.

war is hell. nobody should justify it for any reason, it's already a reality to too MANy victims.

ukit, you resort to the assumption that I am fake or insincere simply because you have no refutation of your own to offer.

War is the fuel of Capitalism.
Capitalism is the engine of Freedom.
Freedom is the cloak of Impunity
Impunity is the mother of Protectivism.
Protectivism is the justification for Tribalism
Tribalism is the reason for War.Whether you are for capitalism or against it is a matter of choosing your tribe and fighting. Fighting for its beliefs, its survival, its prosperity, its territory, and its right to impunity.

not all tribes are/were at war over history. there's way more cooperation and communication going on. peaceful prosperity wasn't invented last century, in fact it was mastered time and time again in the multitudes of cultures all over the world for millenia. war and persecution is just so obnoxiously obvious and cruel we tend forget we're all perfectly peaceful animals to begin with.
- Do produce some examples to support your assertions.hedge
- go read a book shitheadoozie
- Yeah, that's what I thought. Blind, nonfactual claims to support your arguments.hedge
- you've yet to state any facts fucktardoozie
- So then you're justified and MUST be right!hedge
- redundancy winsoozie
- Wait, you still haven't produced an example.hedge

Oozie if you can substantiate any of that I'll give you the keys to Hedge's Yacht (a large motorised luxury watercraft).
Tribe, by it very definition implies rivalry and conflict. We, like most other animals on this planet have an instinct for survival that causes us to compete, in social groups or alone, for the resources we need to survive.
You are oblivious to this because you live in western luxury, oblivious to any real notion of struggle at all.
Like dogs, it only takes a prolonged hunger to make us revert to a more combative state of mind.

competition and survival doesn't simply and only mean war and the crimes associated with it. these things could mean struggle, peacful competition, negotiaition, technological/intellectual innovation all the things we're really good at as people. we're doing it right now and that's not a trivial thing, this sort of thing has been talked about since 1000 BC in india. where did the concept of the philosopher kings come from? Muhammad's entire legacy, beleive it or not, was unifying the arab world and bringing peace to a fucked up situtation. Islam means peace for a reason. war blinds people, it blinds peple to the reality and possibilities of peace.

So, we end the idea of pain and cruelty and instead we compete for resources and survival on a Trivial Pursuit board. Okay, I'll buy into that new global way of working things out.
Only... what do we do when one tribe accuses the other tribe of cheating?
Or one tribe feels this new system is unjust because it doesn't allow for their lower standards of knowledge, putting them at a disadvantage in the tournament.
What do we do when one powerful Trivial Pursuit nation offers to help a weaker trivial pursuit nation in exchange for supporting an ideology that is in direct conflict with another powerful tribe? Do we then have a mega trivial pursuit tournament, with really big pieces of pie?
What happens when people play a fun based board game and a competitive player becomes convinced someone is cheating.
They get angry. Volatile.
It doesn't matter what the chosen arena is for resolving conflict, no arena will ever eradicate resentment, suspicion, superstition, heresy, ideological schisms, anger, revenge, persecution, aggression... human nature.
Human Behaviour.
The basis of human tribal societal structure.

Fourpence's arguments make perfect sense. Whether or not you agree with them, you should at least be able to understand them, ukit.

hedge, you said a while back that you would have to be crazy to share any personal information on this site. Does that not prove my point that you are a pussy that doesn't have the balls to attach his name to any of his fucked up opinions without doing it anonymously?
- No, it proves that it's my personal choice and has no effect on the validity of my arguments.hedge
- b for some reason you are afraid to attach a real name to anything you say.mrdobolina
- because you are a cowardly troll.mrdobolina
- Or because this is the internet and I do not feel compelled to do so.hedge
- why is thatmrdobolina
