What makes me laugh is that you all dispute the idea that war is inevitable and you claim that its wihin our power to resolve conflict and difference peacefully, and yet Hedge here comes along with some points of view that are in contrast to the majority view on here and none of you can argue logically and rationally, you resort to promising to 'cave his head in with a bat'.

Every world "super power" has eventually toppled, and the USA sadly, is on it's way imo. We have violated the United Nations Charter by launching an illegal war, used torture (Violating U.S. and international law) as a means to retrieve information, and Violated the Constitution by detaining Americans & non-Americans without charge and without access to council (there was a This American Life podcast on this with first-hand reports).
and the list goes on....no wonder we are making so many enemies.

Regrettably I personally did make a facetious comment about his yacht, and no doubt the standard, and retarded line of reasoning: "hedge = fourpence, therefore hedge mentioned Yacht" will prevail.
