Lucky in Toronto. My house, a three story victorian carries for about $1600.00 and our office space which is prime loft rent is $2500.00 for 2500 square feet. Love New York though!

2 br/2 ba apt in Baltimore's charles village about a 3 blocks from JHU. I pay half of the $675 a month bill, my roommate the other. We found this place on craigslist and its way below market for the area (1200-1600 mo. for a 2 br/1ba). think im gonna stay here for a while and keep saving my money to buy a house.

I guess this shows how much the housing situation in NYC sucks, Alaska sounds really sweet! 250 a month!? I can do nothing for the next 5 years at least if I moved there, awesome.
- I think hes a bit off, average for a 1 bedroom is $700-800. Still cheap though.canuck

$1400/mo for a 2 bed/2 bath apartment in Pacific Beach, San Diego. Approx. 900 sq ft.
Has vaulted ceiling and fireplace in the living room.
Includes a private but not connected 1 car garage that must be pulled open and closed.
1 mile from the beach, 1/2 mile from the bay. No view.
The rent was below market when we moved in 6 months ago.
Based on what I'm seeing here, it looks like things could be much worse!

£1300 a month for a 1BR "junior executive" (meaning small, minimal and don't even think about trying to fit two people in it) in Kew Gardens, London.
- due to the great rate of the u.s dollars. ;-) 1300 punds = $2,545akrokdesign
- thats pretty hefty. then kew gardens might be hype?akrokdesign

You all have extremely cheap rents. I'm not even going to post mine.
