- Nope, listened to some songs on his myspace page. It sounds like shite europop with shite rapping on top.ian
- I was most definitely right with my first assessment.ian

Im confused about this chap, and I need to listen to songs before I can ridicule him properly so if anyone has links post em up.
However, this is the wiki for his first album, about his gaff? The album was loosely organized around the theme of Wayne's mansion, which he refers to as Tha Carter. The tracks "Walk In," "Tha Carter," and "Walk Out" employ this concept, as Wayne takes the listener through his house, rapping about the activity therein.
After the release of Tha Carter, Lil Wayne was featured in Destiny's Child's single "Soldier".
And he's in the upcoming sequel 'Fast and Furious'...
okaaaay.

Ian. Wayne isn't the type of dude you wanna bring to your gran-mommies house for tea but in terms of raw rap he's been doing interesting things with the music and has become really respected. Especially in the last 2 years. That's what the fuss surrounding him is all about. At the the same time. I can understand how ridiculous his music and persona would appear to people who don't get his music.
- Is it crunk or something similar? Sounds like dire europop from the 90's with some rapping on top. Not my cup o'tea.ian
- He has songs that would be considered crunk but I would call his music crunk music.Glitterati_Duane
- It's hard to quantify. All I can say is that lately he's been able to see commercial success yet impress the hardcore base with his skillGlitterati_Duane
- his skill. I dunno. Do we really need to have a label for everything? I think you either like it or you don't.Glitterati_Duane

A Milli is the only decent track, the rest are run-of-the-mill, I glad I didn't buy it.
- Agreed. The Fabo/Juelz joint was decent, but nothing like what has been on mixtapes prior.flavorful
