my dog head butted me last night and chipped my front teeth.

My Dad's got a noticeable scar on his left nostril after his dog bit him as a puppy. I find it funny because it's such a daft wee mutt, that couldn't hurt a thing if it tried, but all the same, there's the cm-long reminder on my Dad's face that you shouldn't annoy animals when you're drunk.

could be worse. i had both mine sheered off at the gumline in an accident years ago. on tuesday i have to go in and get a new set of caps put on after one got a hairline fracture. for a chipped tooth the dentist will apply some goo to it to fill it in but i guess you have to be careful as it can chip back off easier than before.

I chipped a front tooth on a Marks & Spencer's lasagne at a Step Gran's house when I was 14. I didn't understand how then, and I still don't today.

I chipped them on a bike when I was a little kid...chipped them again about 4 years ago surfing and now this is the third time.

Two chipped teeth, both when I was a kid. One when I got an elbow in the face when I was playing football and one in primary school when a girl headbutted me.
Neither my football nor pick-up skills have developed significantly in the years since.

One of my "friends" accidentally pushed me down on a playground once and my tooth was chipped. I didn't care but my parents thought it was horrible and immediately took me to the dentist.

My brother punched me in the face when I was a kid and killed the nerve in my left front tooth. He punched me a lot as a child, but that was a good one, I still remember it because he actually wasn't trying to hit me menacingly ... or at least I think. But sure enough ... until it fell out ... years later ... I had a black (more grey now that I remember it) tooth.
Years later? Probably not, it was a baby tooth, but I think the reason I smile so much all the time is that I don't have a black tooth anymore.
I got suckered punched by some kid a few years ago when he tried to jump me and I had to go to the dentist after a few days as it hurt to bite into things ... they had to rip the nerve out of it, haha.
Same tooth position, haha. They said it may eventually turn black again and they could colour it back, but it's actually been fine. Or if they left the nerve in it would. I forget.
That was the only time I was at a dentist since I was like in grade school (or since), and they were just amazed I never had braces or anything as my teeth are a 10 on my right side and 9 on my left.
