The fact is this country wouldn't be where it is today without a capitalist democracy, and neither would all of you.

Who will be better for capitalism; McCain or Obama?
You know it's true.

Financial industry bigs have contributed almost twice as much to Obama as to GOP rival John McCain, a Daily News analysis of campaign records shows.
"Wall Street wants change and wants a curtailment in spending. It wants someone who focuses on the domestic economy," said Jim Cramer, the boisterous host of CNBC's "Mad Money."
Cramer also does not discount nostalgia for the go-go 1990s, when Bill Clinton led the largest economic expansion in history.
"It wants a Clinton like in 1992, but not a Hillary Clinton," he said. "That's Barack Obama."

Looks like the real millionaires disagree with you...
- hedge0
You mean the sheep who don't mind giving 30%+ of their measly incomes to the government? Those real millionaires?
No no, I'm sure we can just tax our way out of any recessions. It might just work this time.

"In addition to calling for corporate and capital gains tax hikes, Obama has proposed raising income taxes on those earning more than $250,000.
But Wall Street is often motivated by something more than money - winning.
"In general, these are professional prognosticators," said Ritsch. "And they may be putting their money on the person they predict will win, not the candidate they hope will win.""
- good.mrdobolina
- Excessive regulation and taxation is never good.hedge
- tax cuts for the wealthy are unecessary.mrdobolina
- Not when said wealthy persons are the ones driving this economy and creating jobs.hedge
- prove it.mrdobolina
- Why prove what you already know is true? Also, let's not mention that the top 1% of households owns nearly 40% of total household wealthhedge
- ...40% of total household wealthhedge
- if you weren't a troll, I might argue.mrdobolina
- as if if their taxes were raised they would stop all commerce altogether dry up and die.. dumbass.mrdobolina
- You're better off not doing so, given that I just threw an actual, you know, factual statistic at you.hedge
- It doesnt prove that tax cuts create more jobs, which is what your point was. so suck my balls.mrdobolina

"If we can extend a hand to banks on Wall Street, we can extend a hand to Americans who are struggling," [Obama] said.
Looks like you need to realign your views with your candidate.
- you can't stop trolling, can you?mrdobolina
- Yea, don't actually address anything I've posted.hedge
- how about a few posts up?mrdobolina
- How about this one?hedge

"While he [Obama] laid out a half-dozen principles for closer scrutiny of the financial markets, he offered no specifics, such as which agencies should be reorganized or exactly how the government should go about peering over the shoulders of bank executives."
How typical.
"Even before Obama finished his speech, McCain said in a statement, "there is a tendency for liberals to seek big government programs that sock it to American taxpayers while failing to solve the very real problems we face."
How very true.

"In addition to calling for corporate and capital gains tax hikes, Obama has proposed raising income taxes on those earning more than $250,000."
See Hedge, the funny thing is I ACTUALLY fall into that tax bracket and will voting for Obama. You are flipping burgers and think that one day you really hope to be in that tax bracket and boy-ee when you get there no big old meanie politician is going to take away your money.
When you grow up and want to be part of society let me know.
- Do explain your backwards behavior.hedge
- Congratulations on the the bracket membership, by the way. We all welcome you.hedge
- Who you and Juanita in the fry section?TheBlueOne
- explaining his backwards behavior: he isn't a greedy son of a bitch.mrdobolina
- Dobs, it has nothing to do with greed. I support low taxes because of how beneficial it is to the entire economy and future of this nation.hedge
- //yeah the economy is doing great right now...mrdobolina
- It's certainly not due to the tax rates.hedge
- so the tax cuts aren't working...mrdobolina
- hedge0
"When you grow up and want to be part of society let me know."
Are you saying that one cannot truly be a part of society as long as he or she advocates low tax rates? I sure hope you're not.
- TheBlueOne0
Really..the Gordon Gecko schtick is running thin, don't ya think?
