well the place we are renting from is pretty cool..
they paint for you for a fee and when you move out...that fee covers the re-painting of the wall....without taking anything for the deposit...

could go w/ a white/creme for the wall color, and accent it (depending on dimensions, and wall config, etc) w/ a +/- 6 inch stripe @ 40" mark around the entire thing. kind of like a reinterpretation of a classic rub rail, or wainscoting? I could see a nice chartreuse or merlot looking cool like that. and accented well with the mocha couch.
