has anyone ever heard of anyone using this in any type of work setting? has anyone ever been required to know how to use the software?

Almost did but I talked them out of it thankfully.

Seems like a massive failure so far. I can't see it sticking around too long unless they relaunch it somehow, or maybe create more compelling applications for the Silverlight thing.

just wanted to get general view on its use. i have heard of one job requiring microsoft silverlight knowledge.

Other people at my team use it to build the front end to software. While it has issues, it seems like it's heading in the right direction. As for Designer, that still annoys me, and we still use Illustrator for many areas. A few people use Designer to help create work to pass to Blend.

Once again, Expression Studio is not endorsed by the QBN Handsome Club. Adobe products are.
