I friggin' love those images, they make me want to live in the future.
My girlfriend gets really pissed off that I've not yet signed up for giving all my organs away after death yet because I want to wait to see if I get super rich so I can be frozen and brought back in a time when we all haveone of those machines at home (just like Fry).

I think they'll end up punching a hole into other dimensions and making first contact, its all alien this and alien that but its far more conceivable to meet extra-dimensional entities first as theres no distance to travel
- but what if the extra-dimensional beings think its easier to travel long distances than switch dimensions?ribit
- um... what?set
- the extra-dimensional beings might be on spacecraft headed away from earth...ribit
- you really are making no sense mate.set
- really? Have you been to any other dimensions lately?ribit
- Ah so you were taking the piss. It always amuses me when people are sarcastic about stuff they have no clue aboutset
- I am hinting at the mere possibility where as you are disregarding the possibilty. Don't scoff at that which you have no idea about its just close minded and ignorant : Dset
- have absolutely no idea about. Its like people that think others are crazy for believing in aliens. Are you god?set
- went off on one a bit there, if you disregard the possibility then you are a moron but you havn't actually said that so lets move onset
- ...move onset
- really long distance travel will probably involve playing with dimensions in any case...ribit
- .. or living a really long time.ribit
- Whilst I too like the idea of portals opening up, in reality ribit's point is just as facile as yours is, Hench.detritus
- Never implied it wasn't detritus, just didn't understand his first few comments.set

i wish they would've planned this for 2012, just to scare the shit out of all those believers..... pity they were in such a hurry and lack a sense of humour

from the site
The countdown timer was set to the 15th of May because there was no definite time given for the actual activation, recent events show that CERN wont be dividing by zero until much later on in the year, so now the countdown timer will be reset again and will be continually tweaked to go by the latest info that CERN are releasing.
So sorry to disappoint you all, but you wont be dying tomorrow.
but what?? we'll be dying wednesday??

The use of the phrase "dividing by zero" just sends shivers down my spine.

seriously though that thing is so complex looking that they might as well build a giant killer robot instead.

esto es para matar a los extra-terrestres?
