i have a little songy "elph" cameral that is becoming less and less unreliable and i'm looking to replace it. I want a good quality digital camera that will fit nicely in my pocket (about the size of a deck of cards... or less).
suggestions?

digilux 3?

A digilux 3 won't fit in the pocket, big lenses.

I wouldn't buy anything other than a canon or a nikon, personally.

I have a Elph SD1000 (aka Ixus 70 in Europeland) I'm pretty happy with it as a quick point and shoot.

it's becoming less and less unreliable? what's the problem then?
- it won't hold a charge, even after replacing the battery.grunttt

are there any compact point and shoots with manual exposure settings?
- i'm pretty sure you can with the elphs...but maybe not.lvl_13
- no, the 'manual' mode is really just a glorified exposure compensation setting on an Elph.duckofrubber
