This is the first time I've heard of blacklight tattoos? Can anyone tell me more?
- Was just talking to someone about white ink tattoos this weekend. Apparently white ink reacts to blacklights.selfproclaim
- You should never, ever, ever, be in an environment with black lights present.JackRyan

I worked with a guy who's 13 year old son bought a tattoo gun off the internet, and gave all his friends really bad (quality AND content) tattoos.
All the parent's called this guy up a bitched him out, but he was like
"hey it sucks but they're kids, what do you want me to do?"

I plan to have my 6yr old daughter draw out a design on me, she likes to do flowers and such when I let her draw on me with a ball-point, then have someone actually tattoo it on permanently...any ideas ? Is this a good idea or not ?

This is for mikotondria3, but also for the "wtf", "why would you...", "what happens when..." comments:
For some people tattoos are a living chronicle of their lives. I know I have many tattoos that are the marks of where/who I've been there and then. Perhaps many of these are the same.
For example, if someone's life is tied up in/symbolized by symbols that mean nothing to me, who am I to piss all over them because "it's a stupid tattoo". Stupid to me, maybe.
Some of the best tattoos I've seen are well thought out, large canvas pieces. But there is a lot to be said for the people that relate to the medium in more personal way.
If I had a child whose life at this moment could be symbolized by a specific symbol, I'd get it inked on me tomorrow.
In fact, I do and I did. So did my wife.

I know a guy who did that.
he is a tattoo artist, and actually gave his 6 year old daughter the gun to write her name her name. I was jealous, it was a great idea.

Yay, splendid - I am of course entirely of the 'screw what everyone else thinks', but also am long in the tooth enough to know that sometimes you can get a blindspot with that attitude - thanks for your response, blaw - this was exactly my thinking when we were drawing with the ink pen....think I might do it, having no tats at all, and no piercings or any of that..
