zona rosa is nice..
take the toursity looking double-decker bus around for a day. it's cheap and runs the same route around the city...it's a great way to get around during the day.

Zona Rosa: good bars, clubs and hookers.
Teotihuacan, ruins.
El Chopo: goth, punk flea market on sundays with live bands.
Tepito: you name it, they have it for sale, software, hardware, weapons, car parts, dope, the works.
Chapultepec: museums, zoo, nice restaurants, bars and clubs, great for walk.
Zocalo: souveneirs and a great place for photos.
Ave. Tlalpan and Colonia Doctores: hookers on every block after 6pm.- Daro, your recommending Tepito? We want him to get out of México alive, don't we? ;psea_sea

If you come to Cuernavaca (1 hour from the city) I might treat you to a beer and show you around downtown, depends if I'm not working those days.

While you are there in Mexico City, let all the locals know that you support all of the "fence jumpers".... they will either buy you unlimited shots of the finest tequila Mexico has to offer, or they will put a bullet in your head, have fun!!!

Whatever you do, try to speak some Spanish. People appreciate the effort and you'll have a nicer experience.
Definitely don't miss Teotihuacan, also Coyoacan is nice, get out of the city toward Cuernavaca with Daro, the country side is beautiful. I loved Tepoztlan. The food is fantastic but don't drink the tap water! have fun, México is awesome :)

Was looking at the Condessa, but reviews were mixed as most of the people reviewing stayed close to the opening when there was construction going on. any one stayed there recently (post construction debris and noise)?
