That's easier said than done. They have such a stranglehold on the food production (and they are not alone, if you read some of the recent DuPont stories in Hawaii it'll make you sick too).
This is about power and money. Until we (The People) start taking the power back from the large companies the little guy will never really win. The decisions are happening behind closed doors in Washington.
What we need: campaign reform and some body to watch and document the support that each politician is getting.
If we ever get that, we could stop supporting those that are supporting monstrosities like Monsanto. But, sadly, it's just a game in W now and no one has any interest in anything really positive.
