Part egomaniac, part French philosopher, part genius, all inspiring. Everyone seen this yet?

I have seen it, and he is brilliant, but have you ever tried actually using one of those orange juicers to juice an orange?

Wonderful designer, but an absolutely horrible speaker! One of the worst I have ever watched, talk about one the most uninspiring keynotes that I ever watched.

Really? I found the ending rant pretty inspiring... I got up and did some work after watching... then posted here...whoops back t o work.

a few key points:
-- we are half way through the history of poetry/story
-- we have responssibility to fill that half
-- beauty is easy, when beauty is used to tell the story = it's tha' shit!
-- contest is VERY important

I liked the god part... overall the whole thing was inspiring, although I liked the Sir Ken Robinson talk at TED more.

I saw it a couple of months back and it's one I always think back to - so in my mind it ticks the boxes for a good keynote.
Loved his comment about religion and god.

I have never seen Ted website before what a great idea, I just watch the the talk from Chris Anderson about the 2001 Dot Com crash. Been there done that. Very good.

I worked at a product design company that worked on a Starck + Target rotomolded table collaboration - the guy literally drew a chair on a piece of paper and said "Make this".
The designer on our staff did everything regarding the aesthetics and design, but at the end of the day it is Starck's name on it and he's getting the checks.
So the dude is either hopelessly overrated or a genius. I haven't decided which yet.
- sort of like gehry, throwing a piece of messed up paper on the floor telling his engineers: make this!vrmbr
- yeah, pretty much exactly that.flashbender

stating the obvious is always refreshing, but his accent is super cute...
- if I move to europe will my midwestern american accent be considered super cute?flashbender
