The real question I am wondering is, how the hell did Michael get on the boat? And what happened to Walt. I guess we find out next episode.
- Obviously Ben sent him out to the ship as a spy (season 1 or 2?)iENJOYthings

I have inside information that Michael is in fact...

What episode is everyone outside the UK up to? Tonight we have Season 4, episode 7 (the penultimate episode of the first half of the fourth season).

Ben says he's got a man on the boat...
... is that man Syed? (sp?)...
... maybe he's been stuck in time too like Desmond and we just don't know it yet?
... just a thought... I could be and probably am... way off.
- i mean... he tells Locke to 'sit down' before he's about to tell him who... so it's gotta be someone Locke knows?PonyBoy
- well in this past episode they reveal that ben's man on the boat is michaeljkmohr
- hahaha...i suppose i should finish this past episode then... grr... nevermind me.PonyBoy
- i stopped right when jin and sun were getting ready to bail and Juliet talked shit... :(PonyBoy
- whoops, sorry for spoiling the ending, hahahjkmohr

Michael is such a bitch. I look forward to his grisly demise.
Loved the follow up on Tom being gay. You may remember last season when Kate, Jack, and Sawyer were captured, and while Kate was going to shower and change in that locker she said to Tom, "You gonna watch?" And he chuckled "You're not my type."
I guess Tom is a bit of a shaven bear, eh? Woulda been great if they did a Ken Russell homage and had a naked man-wrestle in the hotel.
But the plane and 'mystery dead bodies' reveal was a bit of a letdown. Too many logical conclusions. I want time travel dammit!- yeah, everyone knew he was gay about not liking Kate ;)Jaline

I'm glad that plane mystery wasn't anything more outlandish than what it is.. too many other crazy things are happening.
I'm venturing to guess that Michael gets killed off next episode, and maybe that triggers Sayid to feeling guilted into working for Ben. Remember when Ben (in a flash-forward) asks Sayid something like "Do I have to remind you what happened the last time you let your emotions get in the way?"...
But yeah, I hope he gets killed anyway. I loved the bit when Libby quickly appeared as ghost ... fucking awesome! The show hasn't incorporated those creepy-ass whispers for months, and now they've done it twice in the past few episodes.
I'm really pissed they shot down Russo. Something tells me she won't be dead though.. I know it. She's way too badass for that.. can't say the same for Karl. Poooor bastard.
But who the fuck shot them?? It must have been the Others..
- mg330
I am really curious about Russo and the kid being shot too. By who?
You have to remember that there are many other people on the island that were with Ben - and the kids, remember the kids that were on the smaller island? - and we've seen nothing of them this season.
My guess with Sayid giving up Michael is that maybe he knows Michael would just screw it up. If Sayid gain's the captain's trust, he is in a much better position mentally and physically to kill everyone on the boat.
However, I don't think that Sayid believed Michael. I think he truly wants them rescued and is not listening to the truth as he was told.
Now we have to wait more than a month!

So when Locke was lying in a pit of bodies, having just been shot by Ben, did he actually see Walt, or was it some kind of vision? Is it possible that Walt exists on both the island and in New York, in two different times?
- interestingflyingnowhere
- Pretty sure it was just created by the island.. not Walt himself. In fact, I don't think Walt's special at all.kult
- someone presented the "black smoke monster as Walt" theory and i think that's pretty validCultr
- Ramanisky20
all I know is when they finally wrap this shit up ... everyone is gonna be like "Really?...Thats it ?...Hmmmm " .... ok on to the next show
- I'm afraid you're prolly right.harlequino
- that's what happens with tv shows.jaylarson
- its not about the end result its about the ride man!Stugoo

I hope the two lovers/con artists who wound up paralyzed and buried alive (she was pretty hot) suddenly come back as zombies.
- HAHAAHAHA that'll ruleRamanisky2
- haha, I was thinking about this the other day and how it'd be great if they suddenly realized they were buried alive.Jaline
- they = other castaways that buried the couple, such as Hurley and Sawyer.Jaline

To expand on my response to Cultr:
I don't think Walt was ever special... all the manifestations of him that people saw? I think it was just the island communicating with people. Ben's mom, Christian Shepard, Walt, now Libby appearing to Michael on the freighter... I'm pretty sure the island just projects these manifestations to people on its own. Notice how each time someone appears, it's someone who will have a profound effect on the viewer?
For example, when Shannon saw Walt in the woods, it caused her to sprint after him, led to her being shot by Ana-Lucia. She wouldn't have run after anyone else like that (except maybe her brother, but that would scare her.. as opposed to seeing Walt who was still alive).
The island showed Walt to Locke because they had some kind of connection.
Libby was shown to Michael because, hey, he killed her. Nothing like your victim haunting to you to hammer a point across.
I think you can repeat this for every other hallucination.
Oh man... now here's a thought! Usually when the island manifests a 'ghost' of someone, it wants someone to do something. This can be debatable, because like, Hurley was crazy and all... but maybe the island really wanted Hurley to jump off that cliff when "Dave" was telling him to. Libby stepped though, and messed that whole plan up.
What happens to Libby? She gets killed.
Don't mess with the island?
...Back to work.
- Sounds good, but Walt is still special/powerful somehow. We've seen a lot of his oddness and ability to make things 'happen.'harlequino
- Like what? A bird flew into a window once in the very beginning. That was it.kult
- Jaline0
WTF, they can't kill off Rousseau!
- Jaline0
^ one of my favourite characters. Sucks to be Alex. Seriously, I wonder if Ben had anything to do with it. I like to think that he cares about his daughter, but he would do anything to protect the island and doesn't care much for Rousseau or Karl.

from http://lost.cubit.net/archives/2…In an interesting twist, we discover during the flash forward that Jin has died. Although the tombstone has the date of 9/22/2004 on it, the ate of the crash, Sun's reaction seems to indicate that he really did die, even if they did lie about how and when. But despite his looming death, we'll still get to see him next week. Maybe I'm the only one who finds that odd. What are your thoughts?
