Bored in work, need new cards (and identity) for my freelance work, just spent half an hour on this. Kerning hasn't been touched and i'm not set on a colour yet. But what do you think as a start?

yeah, drop the hyphenation; unless there is a clear reason for it.

thought about any kind of special process for this? we've just done red with a white foil which looks pretty cool. Might really set this off, it being so minimal...

loose the name too, putting your name on the card seems a bit pretentious. I would just do a big SS & your web address

The reason i added the http was to change the line lengths of the details. and www.socket-studios.co.uk are exactly the same length. I didn't like that.
As for the hyphen, it is mirroring the web address and I thought it balanced out the logo. MIght lose it though if everyone thinks it looks shite.

looks rather generic, maybe it's just me but I've been seeing a lof of these reversed cards where 1 side is red one white the other is white on red. Looks more like an advertising agency than a design studio.

i like the cards - bit too left side heavy though. (have you tried more than one column?
the colour is pretty decent - but a v slight desaturation might be in order.hypenation isn't a problem. (consistency might be though - are you gonna do your site too?)

maybe make your name a size up. make it bold// do something to bring up in the hierarchy.

the only way to print white on red is engraving, but that mashes up the paper all around and spoils the reverse side.
