Maybe they did invite him and he's doing something else.
That reminds me. Some of you should come to Ottawa and skate on the Rideau Canal
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rid…longest skating rink in the world, and right beside my university
- I think you're an organ harvester. You're all about getting people out your way :PJKilla77
- How did skating the Rideau get into a thread about snowboarding?czawada
- It's horton's fault! He brought it up two notes above this.Jaline
- lol @ JKilla77.
Your name suggests that you will kill me. How ironic ;)Jaline - I'll be in the 1000 islands this summer, and I could use a new liver.JKilla77

What, no love for Little Cottonwood Canyon? Go to Snowbird, UT for at least a day—best snow on earth and some of the best terrain (much better than Park City), Snowbird's lacking in night life if that's what you're going for. And it's Alta that doesn't allow boarders not Park City. Madirish is mis informed. Alta's cool I know boarders who have respect for Alta.

i really, really fucking miss the snow. It's nice being on the beach eh...but what I wouldn't give to be shredding Vail Pass with a sled (snowmobile), and a couple of friends right now.....

I rode this past weekend in Val Tanaro (that's out here in italy). We could see Mont Viso on one side and the sea on the other – sunny skies, above freezing temps and more than 2 feet of fresh stuff. Me and the broham... unbelievable couple of days.
Best overall I'd say for me is...
Gressoney – Monterosa. Alagna more specifically. Amazing off-piste. Just incredible when there's lots of the white stuff.

I taught this girl and my buddy yesterday. he's so freakin sore today... I told them the first day sucks. But we went from the beginner hill to the blues in about 4 hrs. So that's pretty good for the first day. It only gets easier from here, well, maybe, the fall get harder, but there's less of them.
*Can't wait til Feb 14 at breck!

learning was so much fun. theres nothing like the feeling of linking your first turn. i always tell my beginner friends that they should take at least one lesson but after that it all depends on the individual. i think as long as you're not afraid to fall and you have a good sense of balance, you're ok.
