if it doesn't get as hot as my other laptop then i'll have one.. as the other is unusable as a laptop

this will be pretty great for road warriors and super-traveling business types, who do ppt's and 'sales meetings', me thinks.

hope to see this technology show up in a pro model sometime soon

edges around the screen are kind of thicker
looks very nice though, love the keyboard

not crazy about the tapered edges. would've looked nicer as flat edges like the mb/mbp rather than trying so hard to drive home the point of it being thin.

thats cool, I guess I wont be using it, so I dont care too much about it, what else is new?
- brenton0
nothing, really.
- dskz0
So thin it will fit in Shaquille Oneal's ass-crack.

MacBook Air: Now anorexic models have a computer they can call their own.

13.3 in screen is pretty useless. i think it was made for copywriters.

before i update to 1.1.3 i think i'll wait to see if people who jailbroke their phone are getting them bricked. i'm afraid to do it. i might have to do a restore, wipe it, and then update. : /

ok, so no updates on powerbooks?
thats cool, I wont feel bad for wanting a faster machine now.
This was great! Just a laptop that won't work unless you have a wireless network to jump on to. Great for browsing myspace though.

$3,098.00 for a 13 inch display... WTF!

i am actually pretty bummed there is no 10.5.2 update. wiggedy-wack
- i was hoping for the update with some new features and bug fixes also. Maybe later...blackfrancis

So my waiting to buy an MBP due to potential massive updates today was all for nothing. Though, I'm sure I'll buy one and they'll release updates in March.

Wow - that MacBook Air is pretty f*ing lame. I don't foresee that catching on.
- mg330
Sounds like we need a PSB this week of ads for who the Air is actually for. And that is?

If I had a ton of extra money and a different work machine, sure.

no offense, but if you don't think the multi-touch trackpad, it's slim design, it being environmentally friendly, and finally a computer ditching the large ethernet port for wi-fi, which if i'm not mistaken is becoming a norm for free service in large cities, well then... that's a shame and you really missed the point. watch every other laptop manufacturer to copy it within two months. there are some really good ideas with this thing. will i buy it? fuck no, but it has some interesting things with it.

so it fails , although its a good tech demo. I was expecting something in the $800-1000 range.dskz
