I have the Bose Tri Port In-Ears an they work fine for me. I use them in many situations, from the gym, to playing live shows (I'm a drummer), as well as in my room when there is too much noise in the house. They work extremely well for me and the three different ear foam sizes were an added bonus.
Bose also has a great return policy. I would give it a shot.

Ended up going with the V-Moda Vibe Duo. Used them on a red eye from LA to Miami, worked great. Especially when the baby 2 rows behind me started crying uncontrollably for about 3 hours...it was great having noise canceling buds. Reviews I read said the cords made some feedback noise and the microphone/pause/FF button didn't work so well but everything seems great so far. I only had to pay tax, so for $8 I don't think I could've made a better investment.
