you are not going to like this i know, but i really am not digging either of them. :(
the scale of everything seems really off and the color palette feels more like a wedding invitation, than a holiday card of any type.
- the colors especially...
stay away from cliché, but don't completely abandon it. it's a fine line i suppose.lvl_13

A) Dislike the diagnal offset in the pics.
B) You're both attractive people, but it kinda looks like rictus has set in with that pic...
C) I'm guessing with the color pallette your covering the hannakuh/christmas divide...

haha, well... i am in wedding invitation mode too so that's probably why.
i don't want anything with christmas colors... what do you suggest?

I think its the image of a happy couple that says "wedding invitation"

neither of the illustrations in the first are holiday - just red. I agree on the photo - and the 2nd one looks like a wedding invite.

I just realized that photo is all about your hands. And it's freaking me out.

I agree with using red & brown.

Dear Mom & Dad, Thinking of you this Holiday Season. Janet is preggers and we have run off to Vegas to make sure we don't have a little bastard.
Save some cranberry sauce for us..
Merry Christmas, leftwave & Janet...

honestly, get a different picture and NOT one of the two of you. you are trying to hard here to let people know: "no, seriously- we ARE really going to get married and stuff!!"

Good revision - But I would screen pattern back at least 60% and extend the entire bottom half of card, get rid of stripe under the text, and center the text in bottom half of the card. Too much is going on. Also the all lower-case bugs me
- also don't dig the pic but if its what you like then go with itSoler

Do you have a photo where it doesn't look as if you stepped off the merry-go-round two seconds before?
; )

maybe do the "from our home to yours" line you had earlier & have that photo straightened up in a old frame against that wallpaper pattern - see like it's in your home & your mailing it to theirs...

in my opinion, until you've had a kid you can't get away with sending a card with your (a couple ) picture on it without it looking very cheesy. The only loophole is if the photo is really funny.
just my opinion though.

omg... that is perfect... I think I am going to make my card web 3.0
