Drink some Green Tea, adn you should be taking a daily multi-vitamin

Nice username.
Also, I'm the same way. I don't drink caffeine and I am iron deficient. Maybe get tested out? Or eat well, sleep, get exercise....the usual.

Get some sleep, take your time, drink some tea, have some "me" time.
Maybe you are sleeping too much? Drink enough water?

i had some jamba juice this morning..nothing heavy
but still..i'm like about to fall asleep at my desk...
i'll try the green tea theory right now...

I just realized...I get like 7-9 hours of sleep per night, at least 4 days of the week because my classes start in the afternoon. I may have found my problem..

hmmm, I should try to cut down the caffeine intake and take vitamins too.

2 potential solutions... my girlfriend had the same trouble.. turns out she was breathing too quickly (all the time) and was over-oxygenating her blood which weirdly makes you v.sleepy.. she fixed it just by being conscious of that fact... failing that caffeine lots of lovely hot caffeine...

If you sleep enough and still tired....check with a doctor.
Not to freak you out...but could be a symptom of heart problems.
Best to check

drink beer! it keeps you awake!
aside from that, you should take a read at this.

As marychain said, it's always best to check it out just to make sure.

jaline, guy here at the office fixed his asthma using a russian breathing technique (apparently the first line of defense in the motherland) called buteyko

I also find that a routine helps with groggyness. I never used to eat breakfast- but I forced myself to eat oatmeal and a whole piece of fruit every morning within an hour of waking up. Now if I miss breakfast I'm bummed because it just really helps to get your blood sugar and stomach and brain on track for the day.
Also, I had a co-worker who started getting tired alot, and then he started feeling sore muscles. Turned out he had a thyroid condition and needed medication.
- My family has been bugging me to eat breakfast. I never do, but I have been trying lately. I just hate breakfast foods.Jaline
- whatever sounds good to you is fine - could be sandwhich, salad, etc. Sometimes I have a pbj for breakfast. The point is to get your metabolism movingSoler

wake up and burn fat at the same time
i stopped drinking coffee and if i need a rare boost i keep a bottle of this stuff handy and it really works but don't take it everyday even though it suggests it.
instead, save it for those special occasions like before a meeting or after an all nighter. test it out first with the drink form then if you like it buy the more potent capsules from GNC

maybe it's the fact that i have two jobs and i work insane hours..
and decided not to share that info till now...i think on average i get about 6-8 hours of sleep but i'm constantly on the go....
- tkmeister0
working long hours isn't good for your mental health. also i think you become less productive.
i had a sleep problem working endless hours for a really really bad client. even when i try to go sleep, i kept thinking about how retarded the client is and kept me up for hours. now i am off that project, i can sleep better.
