I am trapped. No Christmas shopping for me today.

just got done snow blowering the driveway. no new snow lately but the wind pushed it all back. Rode yesterday at keystone. Saw my life flash in front of me when I had to thread the needle between two impossibly narrow trees in heavy powder. Took it on the helmet and knee.

We've run out of firewood. And deck chairs. We're down to picture frames and old popsicle-stick craft projects to keep warm.

We have to shovel every 3-4 hours.
Luckily we have 5-6 people able to shovel.

Don't act like you don't miss the snow, snuggles ;)

My daughter and I went sledding this afternoon. After we were done, she said, "Dad, this was the best day ever!"
So I'm chuffed.

One of my neighbours got his car stuck in the snow this morning, and he still can't get it out. He was so angry that he started hitting huge sticks against his house (heh). His car is still in the middle of the street, and some snow plow guys came by and were really pissed off, since they still can't get by the stranded car.
Anyway, it sucks, but most people here are going to work now (around 9:30-10am), instead of going early in the morning since the snow plows didn't come by.
I'm glad I'm done school. My sisters still have exams to go to, even though buses are canceled (for the second time this year, and it's not even winter yet).

I love when there's a ton of snow on the ground. When I had my trucks, me and my boys would always head out. The local college parking lots we're always a good place get stuck. Going from lot to lot over steep hills to see who could make it up/down what. Drifting around, donuts, etc... fun times. But we always had tow straps, and would always help people out while we were fucking around. Most people would give us 20-40 buck to get them out. The tow truck they called was gonna be way more... so it was worth it.
