It's worthless for Mac to attack the PC market. It's like BMW saying they are better than Honda's... it's hurts their brand and makes them look like little kids.
I wish Apple would re-invest their time making those ads into making their hardware not suck.

The ads are indeed inane and I think targeted towards not so savvy viewers as I find some of them to contain outright lies. Yeah vista has its issues, but alot of people are using it and its indeed way better than XP.
I wonder why Apple needed that upgrade?
Also have check the iphone ad with this dude who gets his email on his Iphone and can now check websites, the only phone which allows him to do that.
I thought the ads were clever, at first now they are getting a bit old.

btw - don't get me wrong, I do love Apple, I just believe they are over hyped... however Jobs knows how to hold interest, I can't fault him on that.

Yeah, these adverts are pathetic...god with the way Apple are acting they must be feckin desperate for people to buy their hardware.
Anybody with a brain would buy a PC...it can do so much more than just look "good".
Apple should sell their OS seperately so it can run on a newly built AMD/Intel PC (maybe then i'd buy an Apple product) because their hardware is crap (OK it looks good, but performance is everything) i.e. new iMacs only 4gb of RAM (max), plus there stupidly over expensive for what you get for your cash and is one of the most under supports platforms out there.
Only a fool would buy a Mac!

hehe... i like the ads btw... and I'm an avid PC dope...
... that's not to say I don't think the ol' Mac has a delicious interface and is easy to set-up and looks sweet-shit-hot sitting on my desk..
... but I've never really 'cared' what my computer LOOKS like or the interface for that matter... it's about what I do w/the damned thing. :D NeverTheLess... the Ads always make me chuckle... i like 'em.

I like Apple products. Steve Jobs is an asshole though, no doubt about it. And not in the good way (unless you're talking about charisma and getting everyone to buy your product).

hahahha i think the ad is funny too. makes me think mac is evil for doing these little ads, but Microsoft's software is pretty evil too judging from my experience.

I used to be WIndows all the way but i would hear rummors about how good Macs r so when i college i saw rooms full of Macs i was extatic... that is unill i realised to my trusty old PC is more user friendly, more stable and at few times the age actually faster. Soon i learned never to listen to any kind of propaganda.

Well, i think it´s all the same really and i used to argue about it before, MAC VS PC, not worth it really. Well they are both ok it´s just a matter of taste, mac looks cool works fine, just like a dell with Vista...at work i use a Mac at home I have a PC and a Macbook, they both are lovelly and they both work I do what i want...im thinking on buying a new iMAC and quit pc´s not because i think mac is better it´s just because i wanna use imac + macbook to have same OS at home...and yes the new imac is beatifull :)

I make the swap daily. PC at work and Mac at home. Both have their pluses and minuses. On the laptop side though its no contest for me. The macbooks run vista and mac os at the same time beautifully.
