I keep having nightmares about college. In the dreams it's time for finals but I didn't attend class at all during the semester. In real life I got an F for second semester japanese because I never went to class. I graduated with a 2.17 gpa. Anybody else get these dreams?

I GET THE SAME EXACT DREAM BUT ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL!
Sometimes about college, but typically same as you - I've skipped a class most of the semester, I show up and they're taking the final.
And in my mind I just think "how can you skip a class for that long in HIGH SCHOOL and not get in trouble?"

yup..... i get them too! also, i get similar ones about high school as well

nope.
I pretty much missed the final year of university in favour of drinking and sleeping in and just managed to pass.
You'll be fine, you should just drink more in order to sleep better.

Your regrets will eat you as you sleep, like some steel fingered necrotizing fasciitis.

these dreams are really weird because I never cared about school. and 10 years later I'm having dreams about it. it sucks.

I rarely went to class in high school, and even less in college.
No nitemares of either though.

I only wish my nightmares were so banal. I'm fed up of waking up in a cold, clamourous sweat, having just witnessed the apocalypse or realising the soldier I've just shot in the face was actually a child or .. the worst.. finding myself in an infinite expanse of white with the nauseating realisation that the carbon black furnace pit of hell is bearing down on me and I have nowhere to run and hide, no thing to do accept meekly submit.

you should spend more time in shopping malls. your dreams will be more cliched.

Ever realize in you dream...that you are dreaming...and then in a panic you try to wake up...but you can't move your limbs because your asleep...like being held prisoner in your own motionless body?
or is it just me?

that happens to me pretty much every night. sleep paralysis.

I was getting sleep paralysis lucid dreams for a while of Elizabeth the 1st standing at the foot of my bed, silently watching me (this after I had run up a spiral castle keep smashing open huge double wooden doors for hours and hours just going up and up). I would realise I was asleep after an intense blast of pure animal terror that didn't really derive from anything I could actually see, then I'd have to persuade my body to come alive again while Elizabeth watched.
- kelpie0
I could hear the terror too, it was like feedback, like a sonic youth jam. fucked up.

I keep having nightmares about college. In the dreams it's time for finals but one of my students didn't attend class at all during the semester. In real life this very student got an F for second semester japanese because he never went to class. He graduated with a 2.17 gpa. Anybody else get these dreams?

did the Seattle women do this to you, Lloyd?

(Nov 7 07, 07:12)Yes! Most of the time (in a nightmare) I realize I'm dreaming, but I'm paralyzed.
I'm no interpreter of dreams, but I think it has something to do with the stuff in our lives that we know is fu*ked up, but feel powerless to change... for the moment anyway.
