I have never been to San Francisco, but I love going to NYC and to think I only went for the first time in July.
I have been there 5 times since.
I think it takes a certain mindset to do the hustle and bustle there though, SF is probably way more laid back.
The left coast moves too slow for me.

not trying to be mean you're just glossing over a ton of the fucking annoying aspects of NYC.
San Fran is more like living in a vacation, and NYC is more like living at work.

I never lived somewhere for a long period of time that was nice out almost every day.
Perhaps that would be a good kicker.
You'd almost have to feel great every single day when the sun is shining all the time.

man SF in the earlier nineties was a hOOt. Cheap and fun, great art community, clubs, hot ladies. Now it just expensive. still a great city if you have a trust fund or something
