... drawing a picture of jesus was done with intent of being insulting... not creating something to worship...
... i mean... unless it was intended for worship... then it'd be doubly-bad cuz it's insulting to christ AND idolizing... :)

(Oct 24 07, 15:28)Point taken and I get it and one should try to be concillitory towards a fellow human beings identity issues, but I rremember a wee bit of European histrory..something called the Reformation where christians spent centuries killing each other over whether having images of Jesus and saints in a church consisted of Idolitry or not. The ones who claimed that it was in fact idolatry are the ones currently living in the Buckle of said Bible Belt who seem to have a problem weth images of Jesus. Ironic, no?

Hmm, I don't think so, PonyBoy, old chap. My original, deleted post was going to mention how unbothered I'd be if my Dad or 'anyone else i respected' was photoshopped in to a bra.
I deleted it, because I couldn't think of any one or any thing that could be put on so high a pedestal, so it seemed a little pointless.
For me, if your conviction is strong enough, you shouldn't care whether someone has a dig at what you worship - least of all if it's a glib, largely inoffensive stab, made by someone who doesn't even share the same belief (epill's Jewish, right?).
I just assumed that Gramme, who I've actually got a bit of respect for in this department (unlike arch-nemesis, Flagellum), would be smart enough to rise above it.

... nothings really changed though... has it? Christianity is still that bad... as are other religions - i'm not going to go into all that...
But just because you may have a subtle intellectual point doesn't make being offensive to an entire group of people appropriate... right? (which you already openly mentioned how we should be conciliatory toward each other... so I know you follow)... :)

TOTALLY AGREE!!...
... but why do it if you know it's going to bother so many people when what you're doing is solely for you pleasure?
Anyone who draws Jesus in a bra is looking to get a rise out of others - resulting in their own amusement...
