Hiya everyone! A month ago my laptop and I had an accident. I survived but my pc didn't.
I had backed up most of my files, but my fonts.
Now I got another pc laptop and upgraded to CS3, but still miss the fonts...
Do you know where I can get fonts such as Frutiger, Futura, Helvetica and others?
Not having those "basics" is holding me from continue working.
Thanks for your advice!
Cheers,
nandoPS: back up your fonts archive.

did you buy them in the first place?
if so from where? can't you get another copy with said reciepts/proof of purchase?

Given that you don't have a backup, it would be reasonable to assume you didn't pay for them in the first place, so I'd suggest Torrenting someone's Font collection - there are a few out there.
Alternatively, take this as an opportunity to break free from the stylistic shackles of your old font collection and research new fonts for each up and coming project. Who knows, perhaps you might find yourself procuring some, learning of their value and appreciating the merit in backing them up.
