Looking for some ideas for 'green' packaging (recycled paper/materials/etc.).
Any suggestions for designs/designers, manufacturers (preferably in the US), etc. would be great
Thanks

include a green band, or green tones to the package itself.
Even if the current package/product doesn't not have green in it. Make the green stand out - and call it out "earth friendly" or enviro safe, etc.Also- try to come up with a concept that uses less cardboard, less plastic, and less glue - instead of using a box, choose a blister card instead. If the product is not something huge in size.

why make it look 'earth-friendly'? Use whatever visuals work and just make sure the packaging is as sustainable it can be.
It should just be about good design and not greenwashing.

I was assuming the product itself was also a green product in some way, in which case you would label it that way, in order for consumers awareness.
If just the packaging is green packaging, but the product is not.. then no, I wouldn't reflect it on the design.

ah yes, i see.
i'm of the mind these days that it isn't good design if it isn't sustainable. unfortunately...

It is for a green/environmentally conscious real estate dev.
'Looking' green/recyclable would be beneficial, I think.
Thanks for the links, great stuff to learn about.
Any suggestions for good designs that 'look' green/recyclable?
Good materials for this?
