  include a green band, or green tones to the package itself.
  Even if the current package/product doesn't not have green in it. Make the green stand out - and call it out "earth friendly" or enviro safe, etc.

  Also- try to come up with a concept that uses less cardboard, less plastic, and less glue - instead of using a box, choose a blister card instead. If the product is not something huge in size.
