does anyone know how to unlock a us iphone to work with a uk sim card? Can anyone tell me where to get this done in NY, and how much it costs etc. thanks

i read somewhere, apple updated new firmware. if u unlocking, it'll not be able to read yr sim card and even for att sim card itself.

google hackint0sh check the unlock forum. you can do it yoursefl w/ a software unlock (if you dare) and you need a 1.0.2 firmware to achieve the unlock otherwise you're scerewd. and yes 1.1.1 will make your phone useless even with an at&t sim if you attempt to unlock it.
btw i unlocked my iphone myself using anysim
