That's quite an interesting picture - assuming this isn't just a statistical freak, I wonder what implications this has for the near-future OS spread in the West?
On the other hand - I rue the death of doodling.

At first I thought it was a pic from QBN Sessions.
Then I saw that there were more than 3 females.

"Noodling is the practice and sport of fishing for catfish using only one's bare hands. Kentuckians call it dogging, while Nebraskans prefer stumping"

Even now, I'd much rather take notes with a pad'n'paper, and I've been using computers longer than most of those kids in that picture have been alive.
Oh God.

(Oct 2 07, 06:19)I take notes with a laptop because I want to spend more time actually LISTENING to the professor. This is especially important in English and Communication studies where they are like 10 pages of notes per class. I learn so much more when I only take a few minutes to type something down and spend the rest of the time watching the professor's expressions and letting it all sink in.
What class is this anyway? My classes only have like 3-20 people using a laptop at any time. 3 in the class of 60 students, and 10-20 in the class of 200.
