im visiting philly for work in early october, is there anywhere i must see while there ive been there a couple times before and hitup the
philly museum of art for an andrew wyeth exhibit + the mutter museum any major design / art venues or good areas for galleries / cool shops ?

I will undoubtedly be heading to Philly sometime soon buddy, we'll grab drinks ... and then go door to door until we find Rand and camp out on his front door waiting to be blessed.

First Friday (1st friday of the month), head down to old city art galleries. Saturday night, hit up Silk City..and then eat at the new diner/restaurant. Wings are yummy. Sugar Moms is always a good time. Michael Jackson Madonna Prince night at M-room in Fishtown if you're into that kinda scene, good times there even tho I'm not into Madonna. And of course, go to an Eagles game, even if you don't like the Eagles. The Fan experience there is nutz.

Definitely go there.
other than that, Pub on Passayunk east (11th and passayunk) if you wanna have some beers in a good place, or if you are feeling a bit more hipster/upbeat, johnny brendas on girard and frankford. maybe they have a good show that night.. best place to see a live show in the whole city.
