Rand, I mean NY. I spend most of my time there. I just happen to own a home in NJ, so I do most of my sleeping there. But NJ loves you too. We have beaches. Some of them are nice. You won't have to be a shoobie any longer.

(Oct 22 07, 17:03)I'll indulge. A shoobie is NJ slang for a Philly person who invades the beach during the summer. Some people say the name came from the fact that they used to bring everything they needed to the beach in shoebox. Some people say its because they wore shoes on the beach. Shoobies are a South Jersey phenomenon, not to be confused with their North Jersey counterparts, the Benny.

i agree.i just grew up around NYC and spent a lot of my childhood there, so for me nothing else really compares. at least not in the USA.
