lvl, I'd honestly give you an 8. Not because you didn't like it or you felt it too much imposing and repetitive. You just said trippy to be cool. That's fine.
But you said nothing about the lyrics, nor the aesthetics. So I guess taking out 2 of 10 will be ok with you.

(Aug 25 07, 19:47)fair enough. i guess i really didn't focus on the lyrics because i am not a fan of the music in question (instruments, beat, tempo etc)
with the type of music that i tend to lean towards, lyrics are often secondary...but that's not to say that they are not important. i get caught up on a clever hook.
