But I also think that we should be able to make it easier for citizens that have disabilities and need help. Be it physical or mental. Health Care should be universal... we cant just abandon the ones that tried but couldnt be succesful. What about all those veterans...you think they wont have post-war mental disorders? What about immigrants that come to start a new life in this country and want to contribute>?
There needs to be a balance.

sorry, my pissed off attempt at sarcasm. im just bent that we see fit to nation build in oil rich countries, but we cant give a hand to our homeless, physically and mentally ill and elderly.
also, i cant believe that nobody will admit to the fact that the only way to stop imigration is to mix in a little nation building to our south of the border.

agree with both of you, all you need to do is look at that chart of military spending around the world to see we have the cash to do tons of good shit, I mean even if we loan sharked it out, which is more likely to happen.

Let me expand on this. If this country is truly about competition and entrepeneurial spirit then fine, let the winners enjoy the fruits of their labor. But at the same time why should the system reward the winners with more riches? The system should help those that are struggling to get on their feet so they can get back in the game and compete instead of crushing them so they reach desperation and start using extreme measures. Thats the problem....no balance. Why reward the winners...they already won?!

there is way too much momentum on a society built on credit. everybody owes and everybody works to pay, nobody questions. they borrowed money for college, they signed the credit card app on campus when they got their free tshirt. they signed the auto loan, they signed the mortgage, they rent to own their 42" plasma
we as a society are too guilted into the obligations we signed our names to, - to resign and sit down and protest.
too much shit is in motion and it will take us to our grave.i hate this reality.

I am proud to say that I owe about 400 dollars right now. I have mama's mortgage, but that was out of necessity for her to keep her place, she is paying it all on her own at this time, I dropped about 12 grand in a year to insure she wouldn't lose the house. This country needs to wake the fuck up.

well lets bring this thread back full circle.
get with a church, surround yourself with like minded individuals and BAM. you are happy to know that you all are working to serve christ and the day to day is the same for the lot. you all have the same issues with money and what not.
so your attention is diverted from being a credit slave to a servant of the lord.
