MAC IS WHITE...

It´s just me or do you also believe that a MAC is WHITE period. This Grey and Blacks in the MAC Range just look like pc´s...I got my macbook bought the middle range and added 2GB of RAM and 120GB just because i dont like it black...even the ipod i want it WHITE...and another thing i REALLY miss the OLD ipod interface that looked like the spectrum...black and white + pixel...where is mac going :S

i like all the music makers that own a white mac, but because of the constant chain smoking night after night siting 7 inches away from it's screen it has gone retro into that manila color! hahahahahackcough...flem. ahem.

I'm not one for brand loyalty, but personally i think the whole White theme is tired and boring now, its been used to death on so many consumer products. Apple were right to change the whole colour scheme of there latest imac.
On a personal note, i'd rather be concerned about how my system performed from a technical point i.e. running multiple apps, no delay or slow dow, etc, than how the system looks externally.
I mean, really, who gives a shit what your system looks like externally because what it boils down to is how your system runs the apps efficiently.
Take the videogame industry for example, its one of the most creative industry's out there and most (if not all) developers use PC's because their megafast and do there job.
Hence, they don't give a shit what the system looks like and neither should we aka web/graphic designers, illustrators, etc.

Designers usually do care about how their stuff looks on the outside, right?
I actually hate buying white things because I feel that they get dirty more quickly and obviously compared to products of a different colour, but ultimately it's a personal preference.
There's no way I'm paying that extra $100 or whatever it is just to get a black Macbook instead of a white one.
I'm not sure if the white theme is tired or not, but I do like having things match. So white is what I go with nowadays.

if you compared side by side it costs 200 extra for the black mac book with 40 gigs ext hd space....
anyone who pays extra for the black is simply dumb
also the Imac is a much better buy because you get basically get the mac book pro for about a grand cheaper minus the ability to get a matte screen
