i have an old pc im trying to get some data off some old cds that wont load on my mac i have a little maxtor 100gb usb drive but it wont even show up in my computer anyone know a way to get it to display ???

the drive is 2.0 / 1.1 compatible

do you just plug in the usb cable to your comp or do you need a power supply with it? sometimes when you only plug in the usb cable it doesnt have enough juice to run the hd
