believe me, ive been in it for a while, but just like everyone else posts their 'cheese and whine' threads on NT, just felt like venting for a bit.

Welcome to corporate America

a guy in another department was coming over often and acting disrespectful toward the design dept. in general .. being really loud and bossy. then one day he called my co-workers 'monkey boy'. i spoke with his superior on the basis of trying to understand where he was coming from .. is he like this with everyone? should i bring it up with him?
he has been extremely respectful ever since. whenever he walks by my he puts his fingers to his hat in a salute. ha!

though it sucks to have a bad work environment, you shouldn't be so sensitive. i've had a lot more abusive bosses.

okaay....
;)

name calling is stupid, i actually laughed at that email.
but Jaline is still a poopyhead
- Jaline0
Well, if it doesn't bother you that much usually then....whatever.
Name-calling is lame though.

*pads up
go for it :D

Yea, I pretty much ignore it, decided to vent because its been bugging me, and I don't feel like getting anything done at the moment..
...if all else fails i will just pretend i am arguing with Version5 for awhile, and dream of socking him multiple times with my 5th leg
;)

one cannot control the actions of others, only their own reaction.
- wendog0
look for other jobs - they should respect you more...As for the other A-holes that are calling you names, just ignore them - if you were to leave you don't want to leave a bad name with the company...as for the bossman who is'nt being very sympathetic - I would say "That's not very sympathetic, seeing my current situation" to him/her/it...You may even have a legal case if they are browbeating you for an injury you can't help...hope that helps, and feel better!

i totally did anthony. i sent it to you as an attachment in an email a while back, you must have opened it.

i and an associate yell at each other a lot during the work process, while neither of us enjoy it, it is usually deemed my fault for yelling, his fault for the fuck up and we move past it.
don't take it for more than it is.
some people have to yell to make up for the shit faced grins that people bs through all the time
at least he was honest in his anger, can't knock a guy for that
- akoni0
shit ive been able to tell for a while, feel old, you passed it down to me didn't you DOug...
- k0na_an0k0
damn dude.
welcome the wonderful world of being able to tell when it's going to rain though... so at least you have that going for you.
haha.

Also: It's more difficult to bear now because of your injury, but if you need the money / job suck it up and try to handle it for a while.
Obviously it's harder to say than to do.
Maybe you'll feel different once the pain subsides. However, clearly your co-workers don't respect you.
