i love these too. i also love the type you used to be able to purchase at the old Whole Foods or Good Earth back in the day; homemade sized/feeling and with apricot in the middle.
i bet Fig Newtons would go awesome with the PBR tall-boy I am drinking right now....
*not to self.

I just remembered I have three Fig Newtons left in the cellophane wrapper. They're on top of the fridge, and I could eat them right now...
Remember the commercials with the singing and dancing fig?
"It's the big
Fig!
Newtonnnnnnnnn!!"

on my way home from work i got me some newtonians, and they were delish with milk. i couldn't find the apple ones but they did have raspberry. i was intrigued...maybe next time

This just in:
Target Market Pantry brand fig newtons are not nearly as good as Nabisco Fig Newtons.

I love the all-natural whole wheat ones you can get in bulk at WHole Foods, Bread & Circus, etc. So good. You have to eat them right after you buy them, however, or they get stale.
I generally stay away from sugar these days, though.

not so keen on the original figgy ones... but some of the other flavors like raspberry are delish
haven't had those in ages

Try the Trader Joe's brand, they are the best....no question.
Wish I had a Trader Joe's here :(

f'n weird - out of the blue, someone in the office brought in a sleeve of fig newtons. everyone outta my head.
the best 'newtons' come from the Amish Store about 45min from where i live. I'm not naive enough to think someone lady is 'churning-up' a big batch of newtons each morning, but they are awesome nonetheless.
- I thought figs were the devil's fruitflashbender
- they are in parables in the bible
