What the fuck is going on? I mean they used to actually try to act like Bush was the real President. Doesn't even seem like it anymore.

WTF??!!
You read USA Today??
;)
- BonSeff0
his office does not fall in the executive branch?
does not compute
- Mimio0
If that's true does he fall under legislative jurisdiction/oversight?
They'd have his fat fucking ass.
- version30
look left while we fuck you on the right
this banter is just that and will not save one life or reduce our dependency on oil
that article might as well been written by qruise and posted here

you're not surprised... are you dobby?
... the man's a boob and is obviously trying whatever he can to avoid anyone going through his incriminating files.
it's a shame you can't just 'end' a lame duck and stop wasting time.
- BonSeff0
i believe the point of the post was just another testament to arrogance
- version30
mrdobolina is actually cheney and he's been mocking us this entire time!
- mrdobolina0
funny that noone ever gives a shit.
- version30
do you want to march?
is there a petition?
what effort exactly do you expect to see?my political activism stays at this keyboard, i'm too interested in using this system to benefit me to waste time trying to change things we don't understand or have the power to change without force.
...at which point i become a threat imprisonable for life. i have other plans for myself.
what do want/expect of us rick?

holla at a playa'
- mrdobolina0

- version30
*shit given
*looks aroundnothing has changed, i got worked up for what?
- mrdobolina0
that's the problem... this country has gone straight to hell in the past 6 years and all you get are people who crack jokes on people when they actually care.
I know you are just ball breaking justin, but you must see my point.
- version30
i do see your point but i'm being serious, we all see the shitstorm, but what can we really do about it?
- BonSeff0
i thought dems in congress were all about transparency. they wont even disclose their earmarks. the folded on the troop surge, basically worthless. i doubt anything will come of this investigation.. well, at least not while dude is in office.
- morilla0
for me , I want to move out of this place.
- PonyBoy0
WERD THAT, bon...
... this congress likes to take votes on non-binding resolutions too...
... seems like a bunch of time-wasters on both sides to me.
- Drno0
dob, do not surrender,
because one day we'll all look back and realize that we could have made a difference, sad that noone cares,
if cheney can do it, why not all the others??
its going to be free for all, i don't even think you'll get to see the 2008 elections...
my 2cents

It isnt like the dems have a real majority that was as powerful as the republican majority.
This congress is doing lots more than the last congress.
think about how flag burning was being debated around the 2006 mid-term elections...
What a ridiculous thing for people to debate. To dispose of a flag properly you must burn it. How would a court of law make the distinction between disposing of a flag the proper way and burning one in protest?
It's a fucking thought crime.Point is, the republican congress spun wheels when they should have been at least talking about Iraq, constitutional issues etc.
And that is what you are seeing now. Oversight is not a bad thing no matter what.
