well, you know I am a fan of lots of older music, but I am pretty stoked on a few newer things that have come out.
namely, that beasties instrumental, brother ali, the el p album and the new tomahawk. probably the most newer shit I have listened to in 5 years.

I'm not too keen on the others though... but I'm a bit out of the loop over here with hip hop.. fat beats is pretty good but quite commercial, and judging from the other record stores here, doesn't seem like much going on.. even stones throw has been mediocre at best this past year..
I really dig the Fat Jon & Styrofoam record, don't think it's your thing, it's really upbeat with an old-school electro flavour, which is more of what I'm enjoying these days...

I actually bought that Patton record without listening to it cause you and seff were so riled up over it, nice picture disc and all, but fuck, what a terrible record.. that said, I would be stoked if they put an instrumental version out...
