i must be the only one who is completely unimpressed with this. ok, it's a neat little short with a fancy explosion at the end. beyond that, there is nothing remarkable about this. i think it's funny, as soon as a pool of designers decide to push a piece of theres as a "short film" (as opposed to just another mo-graph piece with some dialogue) suddenly everyone buys into purported brilliance.
k. so, uh while we're on the topic anyway, that kids little speech reminded me a lot of Batty's last words before he dies in Bladerunner.

hmmm...not much there. shot nice, but what's the point? it didn't get me to think "ooh, i can't wait to see this!"
i did like the intro anima on the logo though. the leaves looked quite smooth.

and by shot i should clarify it by saying video/film. of course there are shot photographic elements in it.
