on the whole, i thought it was incredibly well done.
nice naration, great sound and music, and although the animation was a bit spotty at times (the spilt milk thing didn't look so hot) overall it looked pretty damn good to me...
i liked it quite a bit...and yeah, that leaf animation at the begining with the logo...man...nice nice work..not sure why so many folks feel the need to tear down others hard work... i've never understood that part of NT..
now, taking the piss a bit...thats all cool and the gang...
but just this actively seeking to berate and talk shite about other designers for no reason (other than jealousy as far as i can see) is fucking lame..do i think the vid was the best thing i've ever seen?..no...

I don't think anyone is really tearing it apart here (except qruise, that's his gig apparently). But a reaction is a reaction. I think we've all been in agreement that it's very well shot, and the post is really nice. However, it may be a great lesson that all these things combined, don't equal a compelling story or experience.
The info they wrote leads one to believe there will be more work to come. Perhaps this piece will be better in a larger context or collection.

my post was more or less just directed at qruise... and naysayers in general..
not intended at anyone offering legit crits.... as far as that goes, most of you guys were spot on in your comments..i just notice sometimes that folks tend to beat down on fellow designers at times here..
on the other hand, as far as decent crits go...whenever i've seen someone post a logo or whatever, most of the crew on NT is amazing....
