do you also laugh at people who paid more than the cost of an iPhone for their PDA's? Or people w/ international plans that pay $200/month? or do you just always judge things superficially based on what you think is "cool"?

don't take it personally, soler...

i usually just laugh at anyone whose name starts with "Soler"
- mrdobolina0
there is a certain personality type who "must have" the newest thing, they are laugh-worthy.

I won't - but not just w/ iPhone - but in genertal judging people on material objects is frickin' shallow- and quite ironic. no hard feelings
- Jaline0
Depends on the person you're judging ;)
- Soler0
I guess- although giving benefit of the doubt isn't a bad way to go

if the guy is wearing 700 dollar architects glasses and wears black all the time and has an iPhone 1 month after they are released, he is worthy of being judged, aint he?
- Soler0
why bother judging?
- Soler0
maybe he's sponsored
- Jaline0
I definitely catch myself judging people all the time. But I do notice myself doing this, which allows me to give people the benefit of the doubt when I'm getting to know someone better.

I see this dude in my neighborhood at the grocery store who wears aviator sunglasses, pink polo shirts with the color popped and plaid shorts. sometimes he opts for a pastel lavendar version of the polo. And he wear top siders. he is probably 20 years old.
I laugh my ass off everytime I see him.
I laugh everytime I see someone riding a segway too.

for some of you considering spending $600 on an iphone, here are a few other considerations you may or may not already be aware of:
- no expandable memory
- no removable battery (sound familiar? ipod anyone?)
- no exchange or office support
- mms is not supported
- no support for IM with other users
- no gps/telenav supportthe biggest issue i see is the non-removable battery. that's going to go over as well as it did with the ipod...

dobs, i don't think you would like me in person, granted i don't 'pop' my collar, but...
