for the first time, and loved it. London is cool, and Berlin is awesome. The entire city (or at least the center of it) is young, cool, and mostly blonde...
Anyone else got Europe stories?

I lived and worked outside of Zurich, Switzerland after college. I did a lot of travelling during that time. I loved London, Rome and anything in Switzerland or Austria.

I spent a month in Belgium. Beautiful cities and super nice people. I would definitely like to go back if I get the chance.
The only thing I don't miss is paying 2 Euros for tap water.

EU does rock. I liked Krakow and stockholm the best.
I call this haiku Paris
8 euros for two
small bottles of sprite to drink
this city smells bad.

I know about that 2 euro water. The exchange rate (especially in Britain) will make you cry... and it's worse for the Canadian and Australian dollars...

amsterdam, frankfurt, munich, salzburg, innsbruck, venice, rome cinque terre region, milan.it was amazing, all of it. i really loved austria! wasn't planning on going there at all, but i as very pleased! beautiful!
the cinque terre region was my favorite part of all though, beautiful, friendly, excellent food + wine...plus i got engaged there! :D
rome was dope too. venice was cool...but i would NEVER go back to that disneyland for the elderly.

Ok I have a story about Europe.
When we decided to leave Paris, we used a airport shuttle service organised by the hotel called blue van.
An unmarked van picked us up and then drove us to a shopping centre near to the Arc de Triomphe and stopped. The driver jumped out and ran inside to the shopping centre foyer and gave some of the cash (that we had given him for our trip to the airport) to some random walking out of the shopping centre.
He returned to the running van and informed us that he would now take us to our driver and drove us to a service station in the middle of nowhere along side a freeway and started getting our bags out of the car. A second unmarked van appeard and loaded our bags and told us that he would be taking us the rest of the way (to the airport?).
The new driver was paid some of the cash that was left over from the first driver and we we're on the way again. This driver sat on 140km/hr all the way to Charles de Gaul airport and we swifty departed to check in.
This shuttle saved us about 10 euros in the end and we were sure that we were being kidnapped. Joke was on us though as we made it to the airport in one piece.
These van servicesd are part of some sort of indian pyramid scheme it would appear so you are best off catching a taxi in some places...
