i'm a t-mobile guy (pre-paid) long story&bad credit(another long story).
I'm happy with it but thinking of using the verizon prepaid. any fans of it??and they have 2-options which one.
Any other you guys consider.[prepaid of course :( ]

I use Verizon in nyc and have had excellent coverage. However, Verizon in DC sucks...

I have ad T-Mobile, Veriz, Sprint in NYC.
I live in Park Slope and Tmob and Veriz had terrible service in my apt. Sprint is a little more expsive but it seems to have the best coverage. I even get service in th subway sometimes.
That said, if you are just going to be in Manhattan, i would think T or V would be fine enough.

Which is better out of Tmobile and ATT in NYC? I've had verizon for a while, and they have great reception but they carry shitty phones. Any black berry pearl or iphone owners? How do you like their service? It's very important that I have good reception.

ATT sucks. Coverage and customer service. Go with TMobile...
- Unless you want the iPhone. Then you're stuck with ATT...TheBlueOne

i've had all of them in the past, and currently my personal is t-mobile and work is verizon. imo t-mobile has the best customer service, and reception is good enough that i don't really have any issues anywhere i frequent. verizon has been ok, but their customer service can be infuriating

i CAN say though, that the 3G coverage w/ ATT in NYC is very good. never had issues when i travel there.

vplane- verizon has the pearl now, it rulez......had it on tmobile. you dont know about being crackish till you have a crackberry.
I've had them all!! in NYC defintily consider Tmobile or Vz. Tmobile if you like cool phones! and upgrade a lot as i did!
I was a TMobile prepaid and Vz inpulse guy. same reasons. Anyway....the Vz prepaid has the in-network thing which helps out a lot if you have lots of peepz in 'the Network' , also benefit from the wkend thing if i'm not mistaken. otherwise, TMobile. I hate being on the plans-prepaid all the way. I get what I pay for! I hate seeing a bill with state, fed., 911, insur. and other B.S. being billed....pay for the min. get taxed once ..... move on.
