"your teachers need to teach you a little better.
in both music and art it is drawn from popular mass culture. "Pop"-ular"
Morilla, using that thinking then how does one make pop music when they are not popular? Or are they just pandering to the masses using POP TECHNIQUES

I am just trying to save you some embarrasment from using bad slang.

my cousin plays in Shakiras band and helped me with the piece.
Have you ever heard of a musician following a Pop Formula?
- akrok0

..because its the worst logo design, ever. REMOVE IT!. thx.

yes their are different formulas,
but you don't here people say " that song has Pop techniques" or "lets follow the "Pop technique"
see?
- ********0
hear
- defanddumm0
I see what you mean Morilla, and to end this lets just agree to disagree.
But in music they call it a pop formula, in design i just called it a pop technique and that was for my school paper.
I just wanted to explain what it meant to make something pop without a grumpy stressed out designer telling me to not say that word because his marketing bla, bla...

AHHHH , you are talking in circles.
you can't rewrite definitions of words. "Pop" in the design world means something completely different than how you are using it. You will look like a douche.
I am sick of trying to help you be cool. Good Luck.
Make it Pop!!!
- defanddumm0
thanks but i dont need your help in being "cool"
ill leave that to fonsy
- mogadon0
Hmm.
Needs polka dots.

well, a lot of us here are not.
we are out working, either for agencies, as freelancers or for our own companies. we can be a little abrasive sometimes, but there are a lot of people here that do know what they are talking about and you could learn a lot from them. so maybe just take a step back and listen.
i'm only talking about the pop thing by the way, who are we to tell you wether or not to like that horrible logo.
