I just went to Kinko's to get some colour prints from a Mac disk and was told that they've "phased out Macs". Fucking muppets the lot of them.

What's a mac disk? Surely their PC's can read the disk right?

No, their dinosaur PC Design Workstation can't read the disk. Last time I went (when they had Macs) I couldn't print because my file size was too big... a fucking 50MB PDF!!!

Go to the front counter and just place an order. Make sure it's a pdf file. This will be the path to least resistance. Or you can do it online now. Kinko's peeps like to dick you around when it comes to their workstations. Nobody knows what their doing when it comes to those. They'll give you all the excuses in the world, when in the end, they just don't know how to operate their own machines b/c they are not trained how to use them.

I fucking hate kinkos..
last time I was there, I was printing out a comp of a album cover I had done. They told me they couldn't print it because since it was a album cover.. I obviously did not own the rights to it.

...and if you have multiple pdf files combine it into one...cause theyll charge for each pdf file they have to open

next time burn your work to cd or get a usb memory.
I don't use Kinkos but they've saved my ass a couple of times that i needed prints at 2am.

how does a .pdf on a cd not get printed, that's the only thing i will take to kinkos. my colors are always spot on and service while i wait in store so just a few minutes while they open and print.
My city has about 10 of them, 2 of which i can readily depend on luckily the closest one to me is my favorite.
Sounds like you should start calling around to some of the other offices. Also, OfficeMax has CopyMax inside the same building, usually in the back if you have one of those. All of those I've ever been to are Mac compatible.

Nobody can sway my opinion now, they're just tards. I found somewhere else to print them anyway, somewhere with staff who know what they're doing.

Dude...I wouldn't even know where to begin with Kinko's. While I was in school I printed out 10 20 page booklets for a project program. They binded them all on the wrong side. I was picking them up an hour before class. I got pissed and I went outside and went to kick my car...it was a hatch back. I meant just to harmlessly kick the back of the door...my foot ended up slipping up the door and going through the back window, cutting the fuck out of my leg. I went back in and had to stand in line. I was there for about 10 minutes...the lady behind me asked me if i knew I was bleeding. I looked down at the back of my pant leg, and the whole bottom was soaked in blood, lifted my pant leg up a bit, and my whole sock was soaked and most of my shoe, I was leaving a bloody foot-print. I was in line another 5 or so minutes and I started to get dizzy from so much blood.I just had to leave...didn't go to class...went and got stitches at the local emergi-care. Hahahaha...ahhhh, Kinko's.

By crazy I hope you mean stupid...I felt like such an idiot, but it was pretty funny at the same time. It did cost me almost $300 to replace my window. I drove to my friends house after the stitches and he was outside...he looked at my wondow, and then my pants and just started cracking up.
