this is an awesome video.
god knows where its been trawled up from.its pete doherty as a young teen being interviewed for tv about oasis standing outside an oasis gig.
man, he looks so innocent there to even have smoked his first fag or had an alcoholic drink lol
- morilla0
I dont know about that but he could of at least been smoking cigarettes then.
- pyeaton0
he coulda been into rodent mutilation.
- Mimio0
He stole nutrients from his twin brother in the womb.

There has to be something charming about him. I kind of get where his fans are coming from.
That being said, I wouldn't touch him or his music with a 10 foot pole. It's pretty clear that having a serious relationship with someone like this is unhealthy.

jaline, he is meant to a genuinely charming guy. i know a lot of fans that have met him and hung out with him. he doesnt have a problem with socialising with his fans. which is why his fans have such a love for him.
most people that are fans of his music will be able to tell you a story of meeting him at a gig or one of their friends having done so.my bro has interviewed and jammed with him before and says that he is such a nice guy and very genuine too.
dont knock his music, the libertines stuff is really good. and some of his acoustic stuff is amazing.
its just a shame the drugs took such a hold on him.
pete and carl from the libertines had the songwriting potential of being a lennon and mcartney of this generation had it not been for the drugs.
carl supported him at a few gigs he played recently in london and there are well founded rumours of a return of the Libertines later this year.

jaline, watch these, theyl give you more of an insight into the guy, he IS a really deep gentle person - definitely not the moster he's portrayed to be in the tabloids

He has never been oirtrayed as a monster.
Some of the interviews I have seen of late were a real, poor me, feel sorry for me please, Everyone hates me.
Having said that the libertines did rock.
Saw Babyshambles at Glasto and they were gash. PD looked like he couldn't give a fuck
- morilla0
I don't think he's been portrayed as a Monster, just a dipshit.
- Jaline0
Haha, guys, calm down. I know he seems to be a nice guy.
However, he's obviously got serious issues.
I have listened to his music before, and it's okay, but his stuff has gotten progressively worse, which is a shame.
I agree with Justin about his portrayal. People don't think he's a monster at all - just that's he a douchebag in the sense that he seems to have no life anymore.
- 23kon0
oh yeah, babyshambles ARE a shambles!!
what a waste of time!
- jevad0
lol @ 'trousers'
hahahahha

He really is a very candid, honest and frank person. It's quite a shame what the drugs have done to him - he's become a walking anti-drug ad really...such a shame...cos i reckon he's a brilliant songwriter...

His music, poetry, art whatever has never been particularly good in my opinion. I went to school with some of his friends, the first libertines bass player etc No doubt that initially in their teens they were intelligent public school boys, but by no means notably so.
They all just became hugely egotistical and self obsessed, any talent they did have has now long gone, with everything fame has brought them.
What I would hate to happen is that pete would die of an OD and then become a cult figure like hendrix or cobain, when in reality he has nowhere near the talent or skill or either.
I hope he just falls out of favour with the media and slinks into non existence never to be seen again.I have no interest in him or kate moss etc, it just annoys me to see him hailed as a great talent when there are tons of young people out there with a lot more to offer.
