fucking L blows ass in the morning (I guess I'm just not used to being packed in like Sardines, I can only imagine Mid - July, I'll have to bring 5 changes of clothes to work)

Live in Tribeca, work in Greenpoint. I want your job, i mean apartment.

(May 17 07, 08:33)Flip that...live in GPT...work in Tribeca. And you can have my job and apt :) They're both lame.
Plus, the early morning L-packing isn't so bothersome to me. Actually it's helpful. I can check 'vapor groping' off of my todo list first thing in the morning. Takes the pressure off. No mad race with the sun to meet my personal space violation quotas for the day...no uncomfortable cheek-to-cheek silence with my deli guy. Etc.

It's about a 40 minute commute if I take the F after walking from Grand to Delancey and then on to 41st and 3rd, but only about 25 - 30 minutes if I do it this way:

If I walk, 25 minutes.
If I cycle, 5-10 tops.
If I drive, 45 minutes sitting in traffic and a possible 15minutes trying to find a space.

(May 18 07, 14:02)though i was really wondering why one would drive a car to work in New York when you're an 8 min bike ride away. Cars are death.

and Bloomberg is going to take your money for that in the near future.

45 minutes from Crown Heights, Brooklyn to 26th & 11th, by bike. Plus, I get to stop in the East Village for coffee every morning.

25 min to 22 and broadway from jersey city

If I'm being honest;
25min drive to Jersey Airport.
1hr wait at airport.
50minute flight to Gatwick.
2-3hr minimum wait for connecting flight
7-8hr flight to Newark/JFK.
Then however long it takes to get from either of those airports

50 minutes from Bay Ridge (95 St stop) Brooklyn to 21st & 6th Ave in Manhattan. I usually grab the R to the N to 23rd St stop.

Corner of 10th and C? That wouldn't happen to be 153 Avenue C would it? I just moved outta that building, hehe.
I'm commuting from East Village, corner of 10th and Ave. C. Takes me 45 min. to get to work @ 44th st. and 9th ave. There has got to be a faster way.........
